What Litverse is
Litverse is Sreenidhi's annual literary festival — five days where the usual timetable gives way to poetry, theatre, debate, comedy and conversation.
The point isn't only to watch. Almost everything happening this week was written, directed, rehearsed or organised by students, from MYP 1 through DP 2. Teachers support it; students run it.
Alongside the student programme, twelve guest speakers come in for a single hour of parallel sessions we call #beyondpages — on AI, philosophy, psychology, music therapy, comedy, theatre, human rights, teamwork and space. The idea behind the name: the questions that matter don't stay inside one subject, or inside a book.

Why you should actually turn up
You only get one session. Twelve speakers, all at the same time, 45 minutes. Whichever you pick is the one you'll be talking about afterwards — and the one you didn't pick, you won't hear.
Your year group is already in it. Every single grade has something on stage or on the floor. This isn't a spectator week.
These aren't school-assembly speakers. A stand-up comedian. A colonel who spent 34 years in the military and now builds satellites. A theatre director who'll put you inside the story. A teacher who wants to argue with you about AI.
It's the one week the timetable bends. Use it.
What each year group is doing
MYP 1
Tableau
Frozen scenes from myths and legends. Whole stories held in a single silent image.
MYP 2
Game stalls
Fifteen stalls designed and run by MYP 2 — word games, puzzles, challenges.
MYP 3
Stand-up comedy
Four students, three minutes each, live. A study of how language creates a laugh.
MYP 4
Slam poetry
Original poems on resilience, rights, and giving voice to others.
MYP 5
Socratic seminar & ethics
Live argument with no winner declared, plus Lady Justice and Arthur Miller's All My Sons.
DP 1
Graffiti & global issues
A gallery walk on where art ends and protest begins.
DP 2
A Doll's House
A reading, then a performance of key scenes from Ibsen's 1879 play.
